In order to use the laser cutter with Adobe Illustrator it is necessary that you create a new file with the following settings

Open Adobe Illustrator and click “New file”

1. Click on “Web”
2. Give your file a "good name," which is one that describes what you're making, has your name in it, and a version number (for example: Ms Fisher House 1)
3. Give it a width and height of 24 inches and 12 inches
4. Color Mode needs to be ”RGB Color”
5. Click “Create”

Setting up the Essentials Classic Workspace
