Download Font

  1. Open Chrome and go to fonts.google.com

  2. Scroll through the samples or type in the name of a font

    Looking up “stencil” is a good font style for laser cutting letters because all the sections of each letter are attached (the centers of “o” “p” or “e” won’t fall out

  3. Click on the font style you like

  4. Click “Get font”

  5. Click “Download all”

Install Downloaded Font

  1. Double-click on the downloaded file to unzip or extract it

  2. The Downloads folder should open and there's now a folder in your Downloads containing the font - double-click to open it

  3. Open the .ttf file to see a preview

  4. Click “Install”

Your new font will be displayed, along with any others already installed on your computer

You can close all these windows and use the font in any application
